What is the CYBERSURE Program?
CYBERSURE (Master in Cybersecurity and Assurance) is a prestigious 120 ECTS Joint Master’s program funded by the European Union. It combines strong academic foundations with practical, hands-on engineering skills to prepare you for roles like Security Architect, Ethical Hacker, and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

How It Works: Your 2-Year Journey
The curriculum is designed to give you both breadth and depth:
- Year 1 (Foundations): All students start at NTNU in Norway (Trondheim and Gjøvik campuses). You will build a solid foundation in cryptography, network security, and risk management.
- Summer School: A joint one-week intensive course to network with peers and experts.
- Year 2 (Specialization): You move to one of the partner universities (Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, France, or Austria) to specialize in a specific track, such as:
- Distributed Systems Security (Aalto)
- Advanced Cybersecurity & Software Assurance (DTU)
- Big Data Security (EURECOM)

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s Degree: You must hold a degree (180 ECTS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- English Proficiency: You must prove your English skills through an official test (valid at the time of application):
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of roughly 90-92 (check official site for exact current requirement).
- IELTS Academic: Minimum Overall Band Score of 6.5.
- Cambridge English: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency.
